Hi everyone,
I am trying to generate an installer for our test benches using the Deployment Utility bundled with NI Teststand 2014 (64-bit). In the Installer Options -> Drivers and Components menu, I have the option to select NI TestStand Runtime 2014 in order to add it to my installer. When I leave the menu by clicking OK, I am prompted to provide a file path for the Runtime installer files. I downloaded these from this link : http://www.ni.com/download/ni-teststand-run-time-system-2014/4796/en/ and I had them unzipped in C:\National Instruments Downloads\TestStand\RTE2014-64. When this is done, I get an error message saying that this is an installer for TestStand 2014 and not the Runtime.
I know I can install the Runtime beforehand on our deployment systems, but I'd like to know if I missed something and if it can easily be fixed. I'll provide screenshots if needed as I am not currently on the Teststand developement system.
